Sr. Margaret Mary Siegfried, HM ’43 – The MercyHealth Foundation of the Mahoning Valley this year chose to support a special project called “Meds to Beds” which is Mercy Health’s new Ambulatory Pharmacy. This bears the name of Sister Margaret Mary Siegfried, H.M., the former Dorothy Siegfried, who served as a pharmacist at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown from 1955-94. This project allows every patient to receive life-sustaining medications prior to discharge, regardless of their ability to pay. Sr. Margaret Mary continues to serve as a volunteer once a week usually visiting with families in the surgical waiting rooms at Marcy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Andrea Piasecki Legg ’00 – Andrea is preparing for the release of her debut children’s picture book, ‘Flap Your Wings, Little Robin” on Feb. 6, 2018 from Mascot Books. 

Isabel Thottam ’09 – Isabel recently published her first children’s book, ‘The Labradoodle Who Lost His Doodle.’ CCHS alumni, students and friends can purchase the book and receive free shipping with the code “CCHS” at

Christian Conrad ’15 – Christian has earned an honorable mention in the President’s Athletic Conference for 2017. He plays goalkeeper for Thiel College and has set the Thiel record for shutouts.

Megan Soehnlen ’17 – Megan tested out of her French foreign language requirement of 2 years for her bachelor’s degree at Walsh University!
